Holiday Gift Ideas for Your Over 40 and Unemployed (Tools Edition)

I know what you're thinking, he is unemployed, why does he need tools? Because since he is unemployed he now has time to fix all those little things around the house that need it. Also tools are easy to pawn, and you know how tight things get on half to two-thirds of what you were making. Plus even guys like me who are mechanically challenged like tools for those times when we are just too cheap to buy a new one, and have to try and fix it ourselves. So with no further ado five tools guys will be glad to get for Christmas. The cool new tool on the block is a Dremel. This is the Ion battery version, which means no outlets required to use it, which means it is doubly cool. A great gift for any guy. To go with it is this diamond burr set which is for the same type of projects where more touch is needed. A bag of tools, this is just too cool. Hammer, Screwdrivers, pliers and more already in the bag. Drill bits, drill bits. Drill bits always are breaking and we always need more. Dewalt makes good stuff and these drill bits are no exception. Finally you can't go wrong with a Leatherman. A multi tool is always a good gift for a guy because we always misplace our last one.

So your not sure your picking the right item. No problem just get him an Amazon Gift Card instead and let him pick out his own tools. Happy shopping

What to get your unemployed over 40 for his birthday.

So your unemployed son, daughter, husband, mom or dad is having a birthday and you do not know what to get them. My step mom got me a new Laptop and if you can afford it please do this, it is a huge winner. Most of us can't, and for you I suggest an Amazon Gift Card. Gift cards are always in your budget as they can be for anywhere from fifteen cents to six thousand dollars. Amazon has things listed from free and a penny, to tens of thousands of dollars, so your recipient can find what is right for them, and you get the good feeling of knowing you remembered a loved one, important both for your self esteem and his. Such a win, win and win situation. Why am I thinking of this now, because my birthday was yesterday meaning I only have one year left to claim I am in my forties before I have to move on.

PS. All belated birthday presents are gladly accepted
