A cool game just became free in the Kindle Store. It is called Hamster Habitat and looks pretty fun. I downloaded it right away and can't wait to try it out.

Zuma Now Free at Pop Cap Games
PopCap Games has a give-away for today: a free copy of Zuma for either Windows or the Mac (one or the other, in a single order; I suspect you can get both by "buying" one at a time). They sent out a message to all their newsletter subscribers, but the links and coupon codes work whether you are a subscriber or not (you do have to give them your name and email during checkout, so you may start getting the newsletter). In fact, if you go to their home page, you'll see the offer there, too!. Zuma is a well established game that is fun for all ages.
Game Description
Deep in the jungle lie hidden temples bursting with traps and trickery, and it's up to you to uncover their treasures. Fire magical balls from your stone frog idol to make matches of three or more and clear the deadly chain before it reaches the golden skull.
Explore all the temples — if you're good, you’ll rack up huge combos and special bonuses that'll help you on your way. But think fast and aim smart, or you'll be history in this action-packed puzzle challenge!

The Danger of MMO's
So I joined an MMO, which is a Massively Multi player Online game. They are often free as is the one I joined Stronghold Kingdoms. They are also slowly addictive. They work on the basis of you have to keep checking in to maintain your move upward. They make money by offering you short cuts for money. Watch out for that and do not get started paying. I fully understand how kids today have no time to play outside. Ten minutes at their favorite MMO, ten minutes at Facebook, watch a couple of videos at YouTube and next thing you know another hour has gone by. So if you are thinking about a MMO, limit yourself.

Three Free Games for Your Kindle
Free is always best for us unemployed. Good games that are also free in this world can be hard to find. That is why I was pleasantly surprised to find these games free for the Kindle. First is the very first game they released for Kindle called Every Word. It is in the boggle style in that it gives you a bunch of letters for you to find words from. Good news for you thoughtful thinkers, there is no time limit, They also clue you in to how many words you need to find as it puts a space for each one. Second is the computer classic Minesweeper , it even has the different size grids to choose from. Third is the casino classic Blackjack, an easier to play game has rarely been invented and yet there is just enough strategy to keep it interesting. So have some fun in your down time.
